The Polish School of Dance S.P.K. Iskry, under the auspices of the Polish Combatants’ Assocation, was founded in 1974 by Bozena Langtry. Mrs. Langtry continues today as Artistic Director/Choreographer of the school assisted by Choreographer, Krysia Kovach, Instructor Renata Gawlik and accompanist Barbara Torka. Consisting of 4 classes, the school has 90 students between ages of 6 to 17. The school performs yearly at Folklorama and puts on two annual concerts, the traditional Mikolaj (Saint Nicholas) and a year-end recital in June.
